Through our 60 years in business, we’ve always promised to be transparent with you—not just about your wedding dress journey, but also about anything that could impact your experience here with us at Stella’s Bridal. That’s why we’re sharing an important update that comes with a lot of thought and care behind it.

Due to new tariffs placed on imported designer goods, we are now facing dramatically increased costs in our industry. After careful consideration, we will be implementing a fee on all future gown orders. This fee is not a hidden cost or a blanket price increase—instead, it’s our way of directly addressing the rising costs associated with sourcing the gowns you love, without compromising on quality or quietly adjusting our entire pricing structure.

We are implementing a $150 tariff fee for bridal gowns, and a $50 fee for formalwear dresses at the time of checkout. At this time, tariff fees for accessories and jewelry will be covered by Stella’s. This will not affect your order if you have already paid in full. This is not a decision we’ve made lightly. We know how emotional, personal, and meaningful shopping for your wedding dress is, and the last thing we ever want is for that experience to be clouded by something outside of your control. That’s why we’re being open with you—because you deserve honesty, always.

The reality is that bridal gowns come from a global network of artisans, designers, and creators. Most luxury fabrics, high-end laces, and specialized craftsmanship are not widely available in the U.S., and the dresses our designer offer reflect the dedication, skill, and artistry of international creators. We’re incredibly proud to carry these gowns in our shop—gowns that represent not only exceptional quality, but also the love, labor, and care of our designers, their manufacturers, and artisans around the world.

We hope that these fees are temporary and that we’ll be able to remove them in the future. In the meantime, this adjustment allows us to continue offering the elevated selection, hands-on service, and personalized experience our brides have come to know and love.
