This one is pure charm and delight. I kept thinking about the brio of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing across a stage…the way their silhouettes felt light even when the choreography was complicated. The puffed sleeve peeking over the shoulder brings a little theatrical romance, and the tiny French bow at the cuff is my wink to old Hollywood costuming. The dropped waist references the elongated proportions of the 1930s, while lace-on-lace appliqué creates texture the way layers of choreography create rhythm.
