What Is a Bridal Loaner Program? (And Why It Could Help You Find The One)

Shopping for your wedding dress is exciting, but it can also come with one big question: “What if the dress I fell in love with isn’t in my size?”

The good news? At Love it at Stella’s Bridal, we offer a Bridal Loaner Program that allows us to bring certain gowns into the store just for your appointment.

So… what is a loaner dress?

A loaner dress is a sample gown temporarily sent to our boutique by one of our designers. If there’s a specific dress you’ve been dreaming about but we don’t currently have it in-store, or we have it in-store in a different size, we may be able to have that gown shipped to Stella’s so you can try it on in person.

Think of it as bringing your Pinterest board to life.

Not every dress or designer participates, but many of our collections do, and we’ll always check for you!

Why brides love our Loaner Program

Finding your dress is about more than scrolling online. It’s about seeing how a gown moves, how it feels, and how you feel wearing it.

Our Bridal Loaner Program gives brides the opportunity to:

• Access even more gowns than what’s already on our showroom floor.

How it works:

If you’ve fallen in love with a dress you saw online or on social media, let us know before your appointment.

Our team will:

• Check whether the designer offers loaner samples.
• See if the gown is available in time for your appointment.
• Coordinate shipping with the designer.
• Let you know if there are any associated fees or special requirements (usually $50).

We’ll handle the details, you just show up ready to fall in love.

Is every dress available?

Not always.

Availability depends on the designer, the gown, and whether that sample is already traveling to another boutique. Some designers make nearly every style available, while others only offer select gowns through their bridal loaner program.

The earlier you reach out, the better the chances we’ll be able to secure the dress for your appointment.
